Optimal FanDuel NBA Lineup Picks for Wednesday, April 8 | Daily fantasy basketball lineup picks, plays, tips, advice and strategy for today€™€™s FanDuel NBA DFS action (4/8).

So far so good in the month of April. The 7th of April brought the results we have come to expect with another night of easy wins in our 50/50 contests. Kevin Martin and his huge game propelled us to a score of 276.6

Things can go from good to bad in a hurry and we will continue to stick to our process to make sure that does not happen.

The NBA season is wrapping up with only a week left in the regular season. Another Super Wednesday and a huge 13 game slate for tonight’s action.

I will be playing in the all day contest as I like to have the full arsenal of players at my disposal.

These are initial line ups as I await word on some key injuries and rest days especially for the Hawks as they are on the road in the second game of a b2b.

Make sure you check my Twitter feed @zachsgotmoxy for when I update lineups in the comment section. If you do not have Twitter email me at rubberducky757@yahoo.com and I will send you an email when lineups have been updated in the comment section.

Let us jump in to tonight’s Starting Five and Sixth Man tonight.

Tonight’€€™™s Starting Five

  • Zach LaVine and not just because I have a man crush on him. The fact is LaVine can play and is playing a ton of minutes. Last night was another 40 minute night and he crushed it for 43.5 fantasy points. Damian Lillard is not much of a defender and LaVine should be able to get another 30 tonight.
  • Courtney Lee if you really need deep savings. At close to site minimum he will play 35 minutes and get you 17 to 20 points. The problem is that is all he will get you. I will not play him in a cash game but if you are looking to stack say James Harden and LeBron James tonight in  a GPP Lee will give you the savings.
  • I know I have wrote about him 3 straight days but once again Wes Johnson will play a ton of minutes in a great match up. He scored 25 fantasy points last night and has 6 out of 8 above 20. He is pretty safe money at a depressed price tag night in and night out.
  • If Mike Muscala is going to continue to start for the injured Paul Millsap then he should be in all your lineups. Two starts in the past two weeks and in each start he scored over 34 fantasy points. Great match up against a Nets team. He is under 4000 and a must start if he gets the start for the Hawks.
  • Once again the Center position is deep. So many ways you can go but I still prefer Bismack Biyombo at 4100 as his floor is high. The Raptors are near the bottom in giving up fantasy points to the Center position and Bismack should easily crush value again tonight.

Tonight€™€€™™s Sixth Man

  • LaMarcus Aldridge is back in Portland’s lineup and gets a Wolves team that has no one who can handle him. The Wolves struggled against the likes of Jason Thompson and Reggie Evans who are less than 1 percent of the player Aldridge is. Safe money to score at least 40 fantasy points tonight.

  1. Gay is already listed as questionable with a headache

  2. There will me major changes to lineups with all the breaking news staytuned

  3. I ran that lineup out and did not cash in my two fifty fifty’s. Finished 56 th out of 100 and 44 of 80

    • I cashed in 3/4 I believe but all were between 46-54 so close

    • it seems like it was a weird night and depends on what contests you were in. I have had some people hit 100% and were in top 10 some barely hit and then some not his at all. I can only go off what I am in.

  4. I always do a lineup on my own and I wish I would have run it in one of those big payouts. I do a 3,2,2 dollar each night. My lineup smoked it last night

    C Paul 44
    Z Levine 43.5
    K Martin. 56
    JJ Redick. 36
    D Green. 49.8
    O Casspi. 40.5
    T Black. 28.3
    B Griffin. 43.4
    J Hamilton. 23.8

Total points 365.3 and it won me 3.60 so lost 3.40 for the night

    • My GPP lineup did way better as well but I chose to play it a little safer with the minutes being a little funky this time of year

  5. hero:
    MCCALLUM/SESSIONS
    BEAL/JOHNSON
    JAMES/CASSPI
    DAVIS/MUSCALA
    VUCEVIC

  6. STANDARD:
    ISH SMITH/JACKSON
    BEAL/ELLIS
    CHANDLER/HOOD
    FAVORS/YOUNG
    GOBERT

  7. I killed it last night. Ran Muscala and Martin in almost all my lineups. There’s a lot of good value tonight. gonna be some high scores tonight. As of now I’m playing these 2. Any thoughts, or prefer one over the other?
    Williams/Sessions
    Martin/Beal
    Leonard/Casspi
    Davis/Aldridge
    Biyombo
    Lavine/Smith
    Harden/Turner
    Wiggins/Johnson
    Gooden/Muscala
    Drummond
I will make changes once injuries are updated

    • 3 guys jump out at me. Sessions a big gamble. 4 games with decent minutes for WAS and he has averaged 20. Between WAS and SAC, he’s had 0 games of 30+. Gooden has had a couple nice games but can easily give you single digits. Drummond is a stud but will take a few points off with Monroe back.

      • Sessions is always a gamble and the only one I’m worried about. But he’s scored 18 and 21 in his last 2 off the bench. With Wall out I think he’ll get 35-40 minutes. Gooden as averaged 25 points in his last 5 games, probably no Nene. I think the Wizards are resting players tonight. Their scrubs should get a lot of minutes against the Sixers. I’m not worried about Drummond at all, he’ll probably be the highest scoring center tonight. In 2 games against the Celtics this year he’s scored 55 and 60. The last 10 games Monroe played in Drummond averaged 39.5 points.

  8. I like the website lineup today. I currently have Ish, Payton, Martin, DeRozan, Carroll, Leonard, Marv Williams, Favors, Biyombo. I put my projections for all decent players on my blog.

  9. Rotoworld listing both Gay and Cousins out, and there are whole bunch of guys that are questionable. Going to have to pay attention right up till the cutoff.

  10. This is my GPP tonight:
    Lavine/Smith
    Beal/DeRozan
    James/Carroll
    Muscala/Marcus Morris
    M. Gasol
    Thoughts?

  11. PG-Smith/D.Williams
    SG-Beal/D.DeRozan
    SF-Leonard/Casspi
    PF-Davis/Muscala
    C-Biyombo

Final Lineup if someone is a late scratch I will not be able to update so please keep an eye out

  12. no update on chandler status?

  13. Im dumb and played bledsoe in a gpp. If he would have scored what he did last time against dallas i would have broke into the double digits in standings.
