Daily Fanduel Picks: June 27, 2014

Yes, you can draft a new team every single day.

While we have focused our fantasy baseball coverage to this point on full season leagues, we will also be featuring our top daily picks every single day moving forward.

Safe SP

Julio Teheran ($8,900): Teheran squares off vs. Kyle Kendrick on Friday night, and is in good position heading into the game to pick up the four points for the win based on that matchup alone.  Add in the fact that he is a damn good arm, and I love him as a Friday start option.

Potential Value SP

Matt Shoemaker ($7,100): Shoemaker is missing bats, and has been a real shot in the arm for the Angels this year.  The Royals, red hot a week ago, have cooled considerably, scoring only 16 runs in their past 6 contests.

Safe Bats

Evan Longoria ($3,900): Two reasons to like Longoria today….1) He is hitting .268 (15 for 56) with three doubles, three home runs, 11 RBI, 10 runs and one stolen base in his last 14 games….2) Lifetime, he is 11-27 with 5 HR vs. Tillman, his opposition on Friday.

Mike Trout ($5,700): When Trout is raking – you play him.  Especially against LHP.  It's that simple.

Jose Altuve ($4,100): Altuve has had hits in 7 of his last 8, stealing 6 bags over that stretch.  Verlander looked good his last time out, but not enough to scare me away from using Altuve today.

Value Bats

Brad Miller ($2,800): Miller has been swinging it of late, hitting safely in 6 of the last 7 games while hitting 2 HR.  I like the value here vs Bauer.

Brandon Guyer ($2,500): Due to injuries, Guyer has been playing everyday since rejoining the Rays off an injury of his own – and he has been producing (AVG 2.07 PPG).  You can do a lot worse if you are cash strapped for one or more of your hitters that you are rolling out today.

Do you have any must-start picks that we missed?  Do you disagree with any of our options above?  We want to hear from you!
